Performance analysis of peak signal-to-noise ratio and multipath source routing using different denoising method

چکیده

The problem of denoising iris pictures for identification systems will be discussed, as well a novel solution based on wavelet and median filters. Different salt pepper extraction algorithms, Gaussian speckle noises, were used. Because diverse sounds decrease picture quality during image collection, noise reduction is even more important. To reduce like pepper, Gaussian, speckle, filtering (median, wiener, bilateral, Gaussian) transform are utilised. Provide better results compared to other ways. A study several efficiency indicators such peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) mean squared error used demonstrate the superiority proposed technique (MSE).

Signal to Noise Ratio Analysis in Virtual Source Array Imaging

We consider correlation-based imaging of a reflector located on one side of a passive array where the medium is homogeneous. On the other side of the array the illumination by remote impulsive sources goes through a strongly scattering medium. It has been shown in [J. Garnier and G. Papanicolaou, Inverse Problems, 28 (2012), 075002] that migrating the cross correlations of the passive array giv...

Towards No-Reference of Peak Signal to Noise Ratio

The aim of this work is to define a no-referenced perceptual image quality estimator applying the perceptual concepts of the Chromatic Induction Model The approach consists in comparing the received image, presumably degraded, against the perceptual versions (different distances) of this image degraded by means of a Model of Chromatic Induction, which uses some of the human visual system proper...

Balanced Multipath Source Routing

We consider the problem of balancing the traffic load ideally over a wireless multihop network. In previous work, a systematic approach to this task was undertaken, starting with an approximate optimisation method that guarantees a provable congestion performance bound, and then designing a distributed implementation by modifying the DSR protocol. In this paper, the performance of the resulting...

Investigation of chemometric calibration performance based on different chemical matrix and signal-to-noise ratio.

The chemometric calibration performance was systematically investigated by two parameters (changing the chemical matrix as well as the signal-to-noise ratio) of the NIR (near-infrared) spectrum. Three different analytes (hexane, cyclohexane, toluene) were selected and heptane was used as a solvent. The degree of spectral difference significantly affected the calibration performance. The largest...

The effects of signal-to-noise ratio mismatch on Bayesian matched-field source localization performance

The signal-to-noise ratio of real data is rarely known with complete certainty. However, Bayesian matched-field processing techniques for ocean acoustic source localization often require the signal-tonoise ratio (SNR) to be known a priori. In this paper, the effects of SNR mismatch on the performance of a Bayesian matched-field source localization method, the optimum uncertain field processor [...
